National League

Blick's Grégory Beaud has asked the team managers of the five "western" teams about their plans before the deadline.

This coming Wednesday marks the last opportunity for National League teams to add import players. The hunt is still ongoing, but as team managers state, it is more difficult this year.

Two teams are (likely) done. Genève-Servette HC already got their reinforcement in the person of Yohann Auvitu, whom they initially signed as injury replacement but now are keeping around until the end of the season. HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Christian Dubé is not active on the market anymore.

As for EHC Biel, Martin Steinegger states that they are still looking for insurance on defense. "But I know that I am not the only one on this profile."

Lausanne HC's John Fust is willing to use the tenth and final license if the right player is available, one that properly bolsters them.

Last but not least, HC Ajoie's Julien Vauclair is still active. "I am still looking for someone to reinforce us in regard to the end of the season. But the market is complicated at the moment and there is not much available. I do not have a fixed profile and it will depend mainly on which players are available by Wednesday."
