As team manager Jan Alston tells MySports (relayed by Kristian Kapp of the Tages-Anzeiger), they will coach the team until the end of the season, but he excludes the possibility that they will have the same function next season.
Former head coach Christian Wohlwend was let go on January 11. Alston is currently looking into finding a new head coach for the 2023-24 season. Several names were already brought up in connection with the vacant position. Two of them, Ville Peltonen and Tommi Niemelä, did, however, deny that they had been in contact with HCD.
