Simon Seiler started the season with EHC Olten but has been playing for HC Fribourg-Gottéron since mid-November. His two-year contract with the Swiss League team includes an out-clause, to be activated by January 31. It may see use, as the defenseman tells the Freiburger Nachrichten.
"But it looks like I will be playing in the National League next season, too - and it does not look bad for it to be here."
The 26-year-old has made 15 games for Fribourg since joining the team, averaging about seven and a half minutes of ice time, generally as the seventh defenseman in the lineup.
