Christian Wohlwend had been part of HC Davos since 2019. His time was affected strongly by COVID-19, as there were no playoffs in 2020, no Spengler Cup in 2020 and 2021 and no fans allowed during the 2020/21 season.
Team manager Jan Alston states: "We are of the opinion that the team needs different, new impulses and a new voice in the future in order to develop further."
In the regular season, HCD recorded 104 wins and 82 losses during his tenure. His first season saw Davos on the third place. They finished 8th the following season and 5th last season. This season, they registered 55 points in 34 games for the 7th place as of today.
