Tangnes, 43, brought a title to Zug during his first year with them, winning the Swiss Cup in 2019. After that, he won back-to-back championships in 2021 and 2022. Since his arrival, Zug earned the most points in league competition with 447, while second place ZSC earned 404 points.
Team Manager Reto Kläy states that he does not only bring results, but is also excellent in player development: "Dan Tangnes has done an excellent job over the last four years, which is reflected in both the results and the development of the players. Dan is a coach who can and wants to develop players. We want to win more titles together with him, both nationally and internationally."
