In 2021, after he already made his National League debut for HC Fribourg-Gottéron in the season before, Kevin Nicolet joined the U20 team of Timrå IK. For them, he appeared in a total of 46 games, in which he put up 32 points (17 goals).
This season, the young forward is part of the U20 of Linköping HC. For them, ha has suited up in 30 games so far and currently stands at 19 points (eleven goals). Nicolet is also part of Switzerland's U20 national team.
