"It should be an experienced two-way defenseman who takes responsibility, brings offensive qualities, and helps us on the power play," team manager Reto Kläy states. However, the market at the moment is not exactly brimming with such players.
Kläy is not in a hurry to sign a new defenseman as he wants someone who matches EV Zug's philosophy: "We are not nervous and we will not make a panic buy."
Hansson is, however, not the only addition to EVZ's infirmary. HC Luganos' Thibault Fatton, who was loaned to the Bulls in mid-November due to the shoulder injury of Luca Hollenstein, is dealing with a foot injury and is considered day-to-day.
