As Blick and Watson report, the current head coach of the German national team has been chosen as Johan Lundskog's successor.

SC Bern's search for their new head coach seems to be over: Toni Söderholm, a member of SC Bern between 2005 and 2007, will return to Bern but this time as the boss behind the bench. Asked by Watson about the rumor, the 44-year-old Finn neither denies nor confirms it. Andrew Ebbett, team manager of SC Bern, was in Munich this past weekend, where Germany hosted and won the Deutschland Cup.

Södeholm has been working as the head coach of Germany since 2018 and has a contract with the German hockey federation valid until 2026. Said contract, however, contains an out-clause, Watson writes.
