According to RSI, Yanik Burren has already received an offer for a contract extension from team manager Paolo Duca. Burren is, however, in no hurry to make a decision: "For now I'm not stressing about the thought of an [contract] extension: things are going well for both the team and for me so I prefer to keep the focus on the present and on playing hockey."
Burren is currently in his second season with the Biancoblù. In 13 games, he had recorded nine assists. On average, he is on the ice for 18:06 minutes per game, third among HCAP's defenders.
