It has already been expected that the HCD will have to present a big deficit, now it is clear how big it is. The club presents a loss of CHF 2,6 million.
This is mostly due to the Covid-19 pandemic, bad fan attendance and the canelled Spengler Cup which is normally the clubs financial backbone. Without the governement's Covid-19-loans, the club would have been insolvent, the Südostschweiz reports.
It is the second year in a row with a big deficit for the HC Davos. Therefore, the share capital will be increased as to make sure the Club has enough equity.
