The 17-year-old forward, who has been drafted by the QMJHL's Shawinigan Cataractes, will definitely play in Switzerland next season.

EHC Biel

While he has been training with EHC Biel's National League team in the past weeks, there is also a chance for youngster Léo Braillard to play with them this season: "He needs to play a lot to develop," team manager Martin Steinegger tells the Journal du Jura. "We'll see this season if it will be with EHC Biel in the National League, in the Swiss League with HCC or with Biel's U20-Elit."

For Braillard, there is also the dream of the NHL. A dream, that he has moved one step closer to thanks to being drafted by the Shawinigan Cataractes this summer. "I didn't expect to be drafted this year," he says to the Journal du Jura. "I'm going to see how this season that I'm going to play in Switzerland will go. Then we'll think about my future."
