Of the three players, defenseman Stämpfli was with EHC Kloten's main squad for the longest time. He joined in 2019. Fellow defender Bartholet became part of the then-Swiss League team in 2020 after he spent two years in the organization's U20. Forward Hinterkircher was an addition after a successful try-out last preseason.
Rihards Melnalksnis, who spent most of the season with Kloten on a B-licence from the SCL Tigers, will also not return. Other, already confirmed departures from the new National League team include netminder Dominic Nyffeler and Swede Robin Figren.
