Last season, the 29-year-old Finn suited up for Helsinki IFK (Liiga) and Örebro HK (SHL). Between 2013 and 2021, he was engaged in North America, mainly in the organization of the Nashville Predators. Prior to that, Salomäki played for Kärpät in his home country.
