The forward will reportedly honor his contract with the Swiss team and play for them this coming season

Due to family reasons, Linus Omark wanted to be in his home country this last year. Genève-Servette HC allowed him to leave for Sweden, where he spent the season with Luleå HF. As Expressen writes, the 35-year-old has now informed the SHL club of his intentions to return to Switzerland and honor his contract with the Grenats.

In his stint with Luleå, Omark recorded 25 goals and 50 assists in 69 games, which was the best on his team and among the top of the SHL. After finishing second in the regular season, Luleå lost the final in a seven-game series to Färjestad BK.
