National League

The three additions to EHC Kloten's 2022-23 roster have all agreed to two-year contracts.

As anticipated by the Zürcher Unterländer, Jonathan Ang leaves HC Thurgau and will try his luck in the National League next season. The 24-year-old forward recorded 27 goals and 37 assists in 50 regular-season games and added six goals and seven assists in nine playoff games to his tally.

As for Lucas Ekeståhl-Jonsson, the Swedish defenseman played in the SHL for the past three seasons. Last season, the 26-year-old recorded seven goals and 29 assists in 52 games for Rögle BK.

It has already been clear for a while that Jordann Bougro would not be able to stay with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. The 24-year-old forward has now found a new home in Kloten. In 44 regular-season games for the Dragons, he recorded one goal and three assists.
