The decision not to play in Switzerland while he still has the chance to get his foot into the NHL-door is a wise one. Today, Damien Brunner informed EVZ that he wouldn't want to risk an injury while playing in Switzerland, because that could seriously hamper the ongoing negotiations with an undisclosed NHL-team.

According to the Red Wings' beat writer Helene St. James, rumour has it that Brunner might be in in negotiations with Dallas. Apparently, Dallas' General Manager Jim Nill is acquainted with Brunner. But also New Jersey and "possibly" Vancouver are interested.
