While the arrival of Ivars Punnenovs had been an open secret for quite some time, the addition of Kovács was only reported yesterday.

Ivars Punnenovs has agreed to a five-year contract with Lausanne HC. The Latvian, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, has been the SCL Tigers' goaltender for the past seven seasons. This season, he posted a .900 save percentage in 29 games.

As for Robin Kovács, the Swede and his SHL team, Örebro Hockey, parted ways yesterday as he was looking for a new challenge. The 25-year-old forward has, as reported by SVT Sport and Blick yesterday, indeed agreed to a three-year contract and completes LHC's import player set for the upcoming season.
