Lausanne HC has taken Théo Rochette under contract for the coming two seasons. He left the Lions' youth department in 2018 for the QMJHL's Chicoutimi Saguenéens. Now, the 20-year-old is set to return. 24 heures reported back in September that there is an agreement between the youngster and the club in case he would come back to Switzerland.

"I am very happy to have signed my first professional contract with Lausanne, my former club", Rochette states. "I am really looking forward to discovering the Vaudoise arena, and to playing in front of its fantastic crowd."

In his time overseas, Rochette has made 213 games for the Saguenéens and his current team, the Québec Remparts, recording 77 goals and 139 assists.
