Ted Suihkonen will be responsible for training the players and coaches of the U17 and U20 teams and also act as an intermediary between the levels down to the U15 teams and up to the National League. Suihkonen currently works for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl's organization and serves as their Director of Player Development at the MHL level.
As EV Zug will no longer have a Swiss League team next season, they decided to restructure their development section. "The signing of a Head of Development, who will be primarily responsible for the further development of players and coaches on the ice, is one of the various measures we will implement as part of the restructuring," Reto Kläy states.
