"The answer is yes," GSHC's team manager said when asked by the Tribune de Genève if Pat Emond is still the right man for the job.

"We are all working together, the players, the coaches, the management, the whole club, to get out of this bad period," Genève-Servette HC's team manager Marc Gautschi explains. Moreover, he is convinced that the goal set for this season - to finish in the top six and qualify for the playoffs - is still possible to reach.

Also president Philippe Baechler does not want to talk about his head coach right now: "I have taken the pulse of the team (...) and it appears that despite difficulties, the team remains united and that the message of the staff is still heard and understood by the players. This is the most important parameter for me."

With only nine points out of the first twelve games this season, GSHC is currently second to last in the National League. Equal on points with the newly-promoted HC Ajoie.
