With Troy Josephs out for a month or longer, team manager Hnat Domenichelli will now look for options to reinforce his team.

"We are not in a hurry. [...] The season is long and we don't want to hire a substitute that will only act as a band-aid," Hnat Domenichelli tells the Corriere del Ticino. "So, we are looking at the NHL training camps. We will only make a move if we find an import player who is ready and motivated to stay in Lugano for the entire season."

While Josephs will be out of HC Lugano's lineup for a while, Daniel Carr might soon make his comeback. According to Domenichelli, he has recovered from the concussion quite quickly. He practiced this morning, albeit wearing a no-contact jersey.
