The defenseman and the club have found an agreement to renew their collaboration until 2025.

Arrived in Fribourg from Zürich for the 2020-21 season with a two-year contract in his pocket, Dave Sutter has put his signature on a new deal to extends his expiring contract. "I am super happy to be able to continue the adventure with the Dragons for the next three seasons! I am looking forward to playing in front of our fans in this beautiful BCF Arena" comments the defender.

Last season, Sutter suited up 56 times for HCFG, scoring two goals and collecting three assists while spending on average about 17 minutes on the ice each game. In this month of September, Sutter has increased his time on the ice up to 20:11 minutes per game, the third-highest value on the team only behind Ryan Gunderson and Raphael Diaz.
