Three days before the start of their 2021-22 championship, the SCL Tigers have to deal with the loss of two forwards: the permanent departure of Alexei Dostoinov and the long-term injury of Livio Langenegger.
Dostoinov leaves the Tigers after five seasons in the Emmental and almost 200 games in which he recorded 80 points. The reasons behind the termination of the agreement that would have expired in 2022 are not public knowledge at the moment.
For his part, Livio Langenegger, who transferred to Langnau this season from EV Zug, sustained a hernia in practice. The 23-year-old forward will be out for six to eight weeks.
