The Bianconeri have inked the 27-year-old Canadian forward to a one-year deal, which includes an option for an additional season.

Troy Josephs remains a Bianconero next season.

Troy Josephs already reinforced HC Lugano via B-license last season, when his season in the Swiss League with EHC Visp ended in the playoff quarterfinals. In that phase, he has convinced team manager Hnat Domenichelli:

«He's young and very motivated and has shown that he deserves a chance in the National League»

Also head coach Chris McSorley is sure that Josephs will be able to help the team: "Troy is an ideal fit for the type of game we want to play," he says in a press release. "He's a physically strong center who goes straight to the opponent's goal."

For the past two seasons, Troy Josephs has played for EHC Visp in the Swiss League - his first club in Switzerland. Last season, he appeared in 40 games (including playoffs), in which he put up 38 points (19 goals). With HC Lugano, he recorded six points (three goals) in seven games.
