With a new chapter beginning in Bern, where he was hired to support the 23-year-old youngster Philip Wüthrich, the end of Daniel Manzato's career does not seem to be imminent: "I feel fulfilled as a player and as a person, and I want to enjoy it as long as possible while taking care of my body," Manzato says to the Tribune de Genève.

Nevertheless, the 37-year-old is thinking about what could be next after his career as a goalie. "I plan to stay in the business, to train goalies, but I also have an interest in refereeing," he explains to the same source. "I have already made contact with the league in that direction."
