Lausanne HC is in discussions with defender Martin Gernát

"There are indeed discussions, but nothing has been signed," Petr Svoboda tells 24 heures. "Martin wants to try his luck in the NHL." Gernát is in possession of an out clause in his contract with HC Oceláři Třinec. The clause is valid for North America and Switzerland.

Stephan Roth (Blick) reported yesterday that Lausanne HC and Martin Gernát had agreed to a three-year contract. This season, the defender recorded 13 goals and 28 assists in 50 regular-season games for Třinec.
