SC Bern has officialized what has been strongly assumed for a while - Johan Lundskog will be their new head coach. He has signed a two-year deal. Thanks to his tenure as assistant coach for HC Davos (for the last two seasons), the Swede is already familiar with Swiss hockey.

Lundskog will be supported by two fellow countrymen, Christer Olsson and Mikael Håkanson. Both have recently been engaged as assistant coaches in the SHL, the former with Örebro HK, the latter with Djurgården IF. They have also hired Jeff Hill as goaltending coach.

Mario Kogler, who took over for Don Nachbaur during the season, will move back to his position as head coach of the U20.

On the position of team manager, Florence Schelling has been relieved of her duties after only one year. Alex Chatelain, who was Bern's head of strategy, scouting and analytics, will also not be back the coming season, as the position will no longer be filled.
