The 27-year-old forward will be at the end of his contract with the Czech team at the end of this season.

Will a Czech forward become part of HC Davos' roster?

According to Elite Prospects, HC Davos has cast an eye on Matěj Stránský. The forward is currently playing in the Czech Extraliga and is in his second season with HC Oceláři Třinec.

Stránský was drafted by the Dallas Stars in 2011 but never got the chance to play in the NHL. After four seasons with the Texas Stars, he returned to Europe. This season, he recorded 33 goals and 19 assists in 50 games for Třinec.
