A decision has been made - the Canadian will be the Dragons' fourth import player next season.

Dubé's decision: Dragon David Desharnais
HC Fribourg-Gottéron

After taking some time to chose between David Desharnais and Viktor Stålberg, it seems as team manager Christian Dubé has come to a conclusion. HC Fribourg-Gottéron will go into next season with center Desharnais as their fourth import player. This likely means that winger Stålberg will have to leave the Dragons.

Desharnais has made 75 games and recorded 62 points for Fribourg since joining them in 2019. He was also part of the club for a while during the 2012-13 season, suiting up 16 times and putting up 16 points. The 34-year-old spent most of his career in the NHL.
