SC Bern signs Manzato to a one-year deal, extends with Henauer

SC Bern has confirmed that for the next season Daniel Manzato will be part of their goalie-tandem, together with Philip Wüthrich. The experienced goaltender, who joins the Bears from Genève-Servette HC, will replace the Finn Tomi Karhunen, whose contract will not be extended.

While taking care of their goaltending needs in the immediate future, SC Bern is thinking also about a more distant future: Andri Henauer has been signed to a three-year extension. This season, the 18-year-old netminder has mainly played for SC Langenthal in the Swiss League.

It was already reported that next season Henauer is going to play for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in order to accumulate more experience.
