The SCL Tigers have decided to reinforce their team due to their long list of injured players. Nolan Diem, Andrea-Noah Glauser, Raphael Kuonen, Benjamin Neukom, Joel Salzgeber, and Robbie Earl have already been out for some time
However, the addition of Rihards Melnalksnis (concussion), Ivars Punnenovs (lower-body injury), and Yannick Blaser (foot) to the list of injured players made this move necessary. Punnenovs and Blaser are considered day-to-day.
Dario Kummer and Luca Christen will already suit up for them in today's game against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
26-year-old Kummer has had quite the season thus far: in 36 games for SCL, he has recorded twelve goals and 27 assists. Christen, who plays defense, has almost caught up to his teammate in assists: in 36 games, he put up six goals and 21 assists.
