As the Journal du Jura reports, the contract with import-forward Konstantin Komarek will be extended until the end of the current season. His contract would have expired by the end of the month. Whether he will return next season is not yet certain, although there should be more than enough space for him on Biel's roster.
So far only one import-player (Toni Rajala) is signed for the 2021-22 season and would gain an additional import slot if Janis Moser departs to the NHL. As Martin Steinegger explained, he is certain that Moser will end up in the NHL, although he is not sure when it will happen.
There are some positives as well however, according to Bieler Tagblatt, forward Luca Cunti wants to extend his contract with the Seelanders.
