Now that the 30-year-old Swede has became a father for the first time, the time has come to talk about the future with his employer.

Will Marcus Krüger stay in Zurich or return to Sweden?

So far, Sven Leuenberger, team manager of the ZSC Lions, has not approached Marcus Krüger to talk about a possible contract extension. "I wanted to leave him alone until he became a father," Leuenberger explains to the Tages-Anzeiger.

According to the same source, Leuenberger's goal is to keep his Swedish forward in Zurich. "[Garrett] Roe is more spectacular," Leuenberger says when asked about his import-player, "but I know what we have in Krüger."

There is, however, also interest from his native country in Krüger. Already in December, sources from Sweden reported that his former team Djugårdens IF would be interested in getting Krüger back.
