HC Lugano receives help from the City of Lugano.

For their federal loan of CHF 5 million, HC Lugano has to present a guarantee of 25% of the total loan. The City of Lugano has now decided to support the Bianconeri and has spoken a guarantee of CHF 900,000, the Corriere del Ticino reports. The guarantee is valid for ten years.
HC Lugano's CEO Marco Werder is thankful for the support. As he says to the same source, the City of Lugano has "recognized the importance of sports both as an employer and in its social role as developer of young talents."
