According to Marc-André Berset (RTS), Genève-Servette HC has decided to also count on Patrick Emond for the 2021-22 season. Apparently, his current deal would lead to an automatic extension if GSHC were to reach the playoffs. However, the Grenats have reportedly decided to extend his contract before that.
As Berset further writes, Genève-Servette HC and Emond are supposedly also working on a long-term deal which should come into fruition within the next few weeks/months. Emond has been with the Grenats since 2019.
