In an interview with RSI, Lugano's CEO Marco Werder and Ambrì's president Filippo Lombardi say that they want to keep on playing.

"We are absolutely not of this opinion," Werder tells RSI as a reaction to today's article in La Liberté in which HC Fribourg-Gottéron's president Hubert Waeber explains that a league-wide break might be an option (read our article). Filippo Lombardi even calls the idea "catastrophic".

"We knew that sooner or later we would have to move some games, and this has happened," Werder explains. Nevertheless, he is convinced that the protection concepts work: "Therefore, it does not seem sensible to us to interrupt the championship until January."
