"We had a discussion with him and we told him that at the moment we could not guarantee him a fixed place in the lineup," Petr Svoboda, Lausanne HC's Director of Hockey Operations, tells Sport-Center. "Nothing is decided or fixed. But we gave him the permission to talk to other clubs if the situation does not suit him."
Confronted by Jérôme Reynard after practice, Etienne Froidevaux said that he will be patient: "I'm going to wait for my chance to get back into the lineup, do everything I can to get it and grab it when it comes."
Froidevaux' contract with Lausanne HC is running out at the end of the 2020-21 season. He has been with the club since 2013.
