"We had a discussion with him and we told him that at the moment we could not guarantee him a fixed place in the lineup," Petr Svoboda, Lausanne HC's Director of Hockey Operations, tells Sport-Center. Confronted by Jérôme Reynard after practice, Etienne Froidevaux said that he will be patient: "I'm going to wait for my chance to get back into the lineup, do everything I can to get it and grab it when it comes."
Froidevaux' contract with Lausanne HC is running out at the end of the 2020-21 season. He has been with the club since 2013.
