The 34-year-old forward has agreed to a one-year contract with the HockeyAllsvenskan team.

"I look forward to a fresh start as the last season was tough for me. I had a very good time in the league both on and off the ice, but I had a bit of bad luck when I blocked a shot and injured my foot so badly that pretty much the whole season was ruined," the Canadian states in MODO's press release.

Aaron Gagnon played a bit over three seasons in Switzerland. After a short stint with SC Bern, he joined the SCL Tigers in 2017. In 14 games last season, he recorded one goal and four assists.
