Nättinen went through the youth organisation of Jyväskylä and is described as having a good physical play, good skating skills, and a decent shot. Last season, the Anaheim Ducks' 2015 second round draft pick earned himself the title as the Liiga's top goal scorer with 33 goals and 22 assists in 54 regular season games.
