As his agent, Aljoša Pilko, tells Championat.com, there is a huge demand from the National League for the 27-year-old.

Sven Andrighetto soon to return home?

Despite a contract with Avangard Omsk valid until 2021, Andrighetto is not expected to return with the team for the upcoming season. Rather, he would like to try himself in the KHL on a different team and with a different coach, however, the situation in Russia, including financially, is difficult.

"I think that not a single club in Russia will be able to match what they offer him in Switzerland, so Andrighetto will continue his career at home" states Pilko. His Swiss agent, Dani Giger, confirms to Watson that they are looking at different options for the forward - in agreement with Omsk.

According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), HC Davos, EHC Biel, and SC Bern are not able to acquire the forward despite their interest in him. ZSC Lions team manager Sven Leuenberger, on the other hand, confirms to Zaugg that they are interested and would have the budget to acquire Andrighetto if Pius Suter were to play in the NHL next season.

In his first KHL-season of his career, Andrighetto recorded 13 goals and 14 assists in 56 games.
