Chris McSorley, team manager of Genève-Servette HC, is very pleased to be able to count on Mike Völlmin in the coming years: "Völlmin is an important player in the squad. He always gives 100% that either at practice or at the games and he's a very professional player. Mike is also everything that is expected of a teammate or player to be coached."

For his part, Völlmin is honored to continue wearing the GSHC jersey: "The trust shown in me by the club, the fans, and my
teammates is really touching and I promise to wear this jersey with pride!"

Völlmin arrived in Geneva from Langenthal in 2018 on a two-year deal basis. In these two past seasons, the 27-year-old suited up 76 times with the Grenats, recording 19 points.
