Ville Peltonen and LHC to settle conflict in front of a judge

Lausanne HC is facing a lawsuit concerning the dismissal of Ville Peltonen that took place at the end of February despite a contract valid until 2022. There are differing interpretations of how the Finnish coach is to be dismissed: whereas the club argues that Peltonen has been suspended from coaching the first team, Juho Sintonen (Peltonen's agent), for his part, argues that LHC has released Peltonen with immediate effect.

Simply put, Lausanne HC wants to settle the matter in monthly payments, as Peltonen did not receive any letter of dismissal and he was informed that he would continue to receive his monthly salary, while the other party argues that it is entitled to claim a single payment, plus compensation for wrongful dismissal.
