A small payment is the only thing that seems to be missing for goaltender Joren van Pottelberghe to become a Seelander for the upcoming two years. "When EHC Biel approached us, I said that Joren wasn't a free agent and that we had to agree on a small buy-out," Raffainer explains to the Journal du Jura. Now it is EHC Biel's turn.
«I said that Joren wasn't a free agent and that we had to agree on a small buy-out»
Raeto Raffainer
In principle, however, it is clear for Raffainer that van Pottelberghe is free to leave the club: "When we signed [Robert] Mayer, I told Joren's agent that if he found a solution he was happy with, we could talk."
