After Sunday's game against the SCL Tigers, Gottéron's coach and team manager denied having inked Chris DiDomenico for next season.

Where will Chris DiDomenico end up?

"That he has signed with us is impossible. Absolutely impossible," Christian Dubé told journalists yesterday evening, as Blick's Christoph Schär and Watson's Klaus Zaugg report. Dubé thus denies reports that have surfaced during the Spengler Cup that the 30-year-old Canadian will wear HCFG's jersey next season.

It thus only seems clear for the moment that Chris DiDomenico will actually leave the SCL Tigers at the end of this season. This is at least what the Tigers confirmed as a reaction on the reports during the Spengler Cup.

This season, DiDomenico put up a total of 28 points (eight goals) in 29 games for the SCL Tigers, which makes him Langnau's second-best scorer after the Finnish forward Harri Pesonen (32 points).
