Tommy Wingels suspended
The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' Noah Schneeberger has been suspended for a hit to the head of HC Ambrì-Piotta's Mattia Hinterkircher in the 54th minute of play of the game on December 20. He has also been fined CHF 5,200.-.
Genève-Servette HC's Tommy Wingels has been issued a suspension for a hit to the head of Lausanne HC's Joël Vermin in the 31st minute of play of the game on December 20. His fine has been set at CHF 4,000. Both players already sat out one game.
Genève-Servette HC does, however, not accept the verdict of the single judge and has decided to appeal the decision, as Grégory Beaud (Sport-Center) reports.
