Bye bye Zug: David McIntyre.

After several reports over the past weeks, this step comes as no surprise. "Together, we came to the conclusion that the cooperation no longer works and that the immediate separation is the best thing for both sides," EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy explains.

The Canadian forward, who has been with EVZ since 2016, is thus free to join another team. Over the past week the Corriere del Ticino and RSI both reported that McIntyre is close to signing with HC Lugano.

This season, McIntyre has appeared in 20 National League games for Zug, in which he recorded a total of five points (three goals).
