As anticipated yesterday by HeShootsHeScoores, Tomi Karhunen is the import goaltender that SC Bern was looking for. The 30-year-old had an out clause in his contract with the Lahti Pelicans that he decided to activate in order to join SC Bern.

The Finnish goaltender has arrived in Bern today. If he receives his work permit on time, he will be at head coach Kari Jalonen's disposal for Friday's home game against HC Davos.
