After having signed two defensemen, Dave Sutter from the ZSC Lions and Benoît Jecker from HC Lugano, Christian Dubé, team manager of HC Fribourg-Gottéron, is looking to reinforce the offense department. At the moment he is "waiting for answers", including from Yannick Herren. Herren's contract with Lausanne HC expires at the end of the season, making him one of the most sought after players.

So far in this season, the 28-year-old, who arrived in Lausanne from Kloten in 2014, scored six goals and put up six assists. Moreover, he is on the ice for 13:34 minutes per game on average, making him the ninth forward of Lausanne HC for time on ice. Three years ago, during the 2016-17 season, Herren was able to score 18 goals.
