Signed to a one-month contract as injury replacement, Max Wärn joined Lausanne HC at the beginning of October. As the Lions no longer have need of the forward, they have chosen to not extend his stay.

The 31-year-old only made a total of four games for the club, two in the National League and one each in the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup and the Champions Hockey League. He was kept pointless across all three competitions.
