Miika Koivisto's departure confirmed by SC Bern

Miika Koivisto's contract with SC Bern has been dissolved and the player will leave the club effective immediately. The 29-year-old is headed to Sweden, where he will play for the Växjo Lakers.

The defenseman was unable to meet expectations in Bern. Having suited up 15 times for the team, he managed to record two assists. Last week, he sustained a knee injury and will still be sidelined for another week.
